Snake Island

Again, I had a free rental at Blockbuster, and they didn't have anything good. So, I got this one.

A guy runs off a cliff. Okay, now forget about him. There are some people on a boat, some sort of tourist ride in Africa. Their next stop down the river is a place called Snake Island, where one of their guests is going to stay to do research on a book. There's another guy who's checking on a hunting lodge that he and a partner are setting up there. Of course, the guy's partner is dead, everybody gets stuck on the island, and there are poisonous snakes everywhere. To make matters worse, all these different breeds of snakes have joined forces to make a point of wiping out all the humans on the island.

Now, who in their right mind is going to get off the boat anyplace called Snake Island? I mean, that's just asking for trouble.

This is your typical straight-to-video nature-run-amok flick. Not much to be said for the cinematography, acting, or script. Since the villains are snakes, there's no real gore. There's a little nudity, which is nice, but that's about all the film has to offer.
